NEW Downloadable Audiobooks and eBooks. This service is available for Lied Pierce Public Library patrons. Click on the download audiobook link to browse the thousands of titles available. The titles range from children's fiction, adult fiction and even non-fiction titles. You may check out 4 titles for 7 days. You can either burn the title to a CD or download them to your ipod or other type of MP3 player. To check out an item you will need your library card number which is located on the back of your "little blue library card." As for the eBooks; Kindles are not supported but hopefully in the future. If you cannot locate your card call the library and the staff would be happy to help. This is a free service offered in conjunction with other Nebraska libraries. |

 | The "Friends of the Library" will host a monthly bake sale on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. All proceeds help to purchase items for the library. The next Bake Sales will be October 19, November 16, January 18, March 21, April 18, May 16, June 20 and July 18th from 1pm-8pm. No Bake Sale during the month of December nor February. |
 | There is a monthly Story Time on the Second Tuesday of every Month. They are as follows: September 13, October 11, November 8, December 13, January 10, February 14, March 13, April 10, and May 8. This is open to all children and runs from 3:45 until 4:30pm. Come and enjoy stories, crafts and a snack with the library staff. |

February 9, March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14 and July 12 at 10:00am.

Discussion Group Selections
 | "Dani & Friend's Reading Korner" is every Monday after school from 3:45 until 4:30pm. All ages are welcome to attend this story time. (This runs from October through May 9th; It does NOT meet during the summer months) |
 | Toddler Time is every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 9:45am. This story time is for children under the age of 4. (This does NOT meet during the months of June and July) |
