Pierce Library Foundation The Pierce Library Foundation is a 501 (C) (3) Corporation. All donations are tax deductible.


The new facility was made a reality when the Library Foundation received substantial personal donations from Harold & Mae Frey, Pierce Telephone Company & the Fogle Family and Tom & Charlene Chilvers. The Foundation also received $300,000 from the Lied Foundation Trust and $100,000 from the Peter Kiewit Foundation. Everyone who donated to the new facility helped to make it a reality. No donation is ever too small!!

Construction began in May 2002 and the library opened its doors to the public on November 18, 2002.
