Circulation Policies
Patrons of the library may borrow books and/or audiobooks for two weeks
at one time. You may renew those items up to two more times--unless the item
is on the reserved list. At that time, it may only be renewed once.
There is a limit of 10 items to be checked out at one time.
Once that limit is reached, books must be returned before more can be checked
out.
Patrons may check out three videos per family. They may be checked out for a period
of three days.
These items may be renewed two more times--unless the item is on the Reserved list.
Then only one renewal will be allowed.
Magazines may be checked out for one week. No renewals are allowed for weekly subscriptions
such as Time, Newsweek, U.S. News, Sports Illustrated or People. This is due to the
timeliness of the items and demand. Other magazines may be renewed. Use of magazines
for research is permitted; but if possible, photocopies will be made of articles
needed to preserve
supply in house.
Wilton cake pans may be checked out for two weeks. There are instruction sheets available
for most of the pans and they may be taken out as well. There will be a dollar
charge for the use of the cake pan; payable at the time of check-out.
Reference materials such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri, and atlases may not
be checked out. Photocopying necessary pages is an option available to patrons.
Reserves
Any material that may be checked out may be placed on reserve at patron request.
There is no charge for this service. Staff will phone patron when material is available.
It will be held no more than three days for pickup; after that it will be returned
to circulation.
